All in the details

Last weekend, my sister and I hosted a "going-away party" for our adorable cousin, Molly.  She's headed off to Columbia University at the end of this month, and we're so excited for her!  Here are little details from her party.  (I'll add pics of the yummy food later.)

Handmade rice-paper butterflies that I sporadically displayed throughout the table top...on champagne flutes, cupcakes, etc...
I made these royal icing flowers on top of sugar cubes...when the cubes melt, the flowers float to the top of your drink.  How fun is that!?

Lemon, lime, tangerine and orange jello shot wedges.  Of course, we had some virgin ones for the kiddies.  Really fun to eat/slurp!

I had so much fun making this chocolate cake for my bestie who absolutely LOVES Hello Kitty.  Happy birthday, SJ!

Easter Shortbread Cookies

Cute cookies for the most adorable niece ever!!  I had so much fun making these cookies for Madison's class.  The chickie was her favorite.  They were individually wrapped in cellophane baggies tied with cute Easter ribbon.

Alternative to a flower bouquet

Here are some flowers that I gave mommy dearest for her birthday.  These sugar-free cupcakes were a hit!

See Jane Celebrate!

Happy birthday to my fellow-Marc-Jacobs-loving pal!  She was with me many years ago when I purchased very first MJ bag...so it only made sense to make this for my fabulous girl.  (I used my Blake as a model).  Too bad the brushed on gold didn't come out the way I expected.  I'll have to go a different route next time.

Hey Minnie!
